Check the life stage
Pick kitten food for cats under one year, adult food for 1–7 years and senior formulas after that.
Mix wet and dry food
Wet food supports hydration, while dry food is convenient and helps with dental health. Many owners use both.
Change food slowly
Switch over 7–10 days by mixing increasing amounts of the new food with the old to avoid stomach upset.
